Dengan menampilkan 3 karakter yang diangkat dari judul Green Day, yaitu Jesus of Subaria, St.Jimmy dan Whatsername. Belum diketahui apakah para personilnya juga ikutan main teaternya.

Westlife singer Kian Egan will enjoy an early summer wedding as he plans to marry fiancée Jodi Albert in Barbados on 8 May.

The couple announced their wedding plans in early February but had done their best to keep details of their special day private. Egan’s manager and X Factor judge Louis Walsh confirmed last week that the couple would pledge their vows in the beautiful beach holiday setting of the Carribbean.

Like other celebrity weddings and honeymoons, there will be no cheap deals to be found at this lavish event. Some of the celebrity gossip columns have already speculated that the wedding will cost over €1 million. Barbados is one of the most popular of the Carribbean destinations with beautiful beaches and crystal clear water.

Kian and Jodie are due to be married at one of the premier luxury hotels in Barbados, the Sandy Lane resort. The exclusively luxury holiday resort holds special memories for the couple. It was in April last year that the Irish singer and English actress fell in love whilst on an all inclusive Caribbean holiday.

Jodi revealed to Herald.ie that Barbados was her ideal destination for a dream wedding: ‘The wedding reflects exactly who me and Kian are as a couple. It’s so ‘us’, it’s our vibe and everything. It’s brilliant and I can’t wait for it!’

Louis Walsh said that he planned to take a break from his holiday in Miami to be with the couple on their special day. The manager has a hectic schedule coming up this year with five of his acts working on new albums.

The semi-finalists in The Sligo Champion/ Catwalk Modelling Agency/ Castle Dargan Hotel Seach for A Model competition have been announced. The competition was open to men and women, aged 18 years or over.

Judges, Gillian Filan (wife of Westlife singer Shane), Mandy Maher (Catwalk Modelling Agency) and Jakki Brannigan (Sales Manager, The Sligo Champion) made their selection this week.

Ten finalists to go forward to the Grand Final in the Castle Dargan Hotel on Thursday, April 30th, will be chosen tomorrow at the hotel.

Their full details and pictures will appear in next week's edition.

The overall winner will receive a truly magnificent prize package, including a Grooming and Deportment Course from Catwalk Modelling Agency, Galway; a €1,000 shopping voucher, sponsored by Johnston Court Shopping Centre; a weekend break for two in Paris; and a range of prizes from Bella Makeover Studio, Dublin, including a champagne bucks fizz reception, make-up consultation and lesson; hairstyling, photoshoot, viewing session and the choice of the best eight images fully airbrushed on a cd rom, including an 8 x 10 print.

On the night of the Grand Final, a selection of Sligo's top fashion houses will have their latest collections modelled by Catwalk Modelling Agency, before the winner of the inaugural Search for a Model is announced.

Asked about the modelling competition Gillian said:

"I think it's a great idea. There are so many stunning looking girls in Sligo who could definitely make careers in the modelling profession, and this is a genuine opportunity for somebody to make a significant breakthrough,".

"Dublin has always had lots of modelling competitions, so I suppose it's only natural that most models are based in or close to the capital. But competitions like this provide an opportunity for girls to have a chance in their own area, and that's very important.

"It will be very interesting to find a model in Sligo and to see how far that person can take it. While I would hate to think it would all be very serious, it is nonetheless an important opportunity for anyone who feels they might have a talent in this regard," .

"My advice to anybody considering entering the competition would be, firstly, to go out and enjoy it. It has to be fun, or there's no point doing it. My other tip would be not to be shy or lacking in confidence. Leave all those inhibitions behind and really go for it.

"I know it's going to be a great night when the final is staged in the Castle Dargan Hotel on April 30th. I'm really looking forward to it," she concludes.

White gloves

The white glitter gloves that Michael wore in his music video for the song Billie Jean will also be on auction. Singer Mika already stated he wants to own the unique sparkling glove, that costs over $15.000, for his gigs no matter what.

Shane however already got a private viewing of Michael Jackson's amazing auction memorabilia. The Sligo singer is planning to splash out on a number of items from the moon walking star's personal collection.

"It's a dream come true to see some of these historical things up close like this - I'd love to buy the glove or the hat.

"Michael Jackson has been a hero to me since I was a kid."

Shane was in dreamland as he got to try on the famous bejewelled glove and strummed a few chords on the guitar that Slash played in Jacko's Scream hit. He revealed if he gets his hands on even one of the items he will be flying without wings. He added: "I'm definitely going to try and pick up a couple of things at the auction.
